In the name of God Amen I John Butcher alias Sibthorp of  Hanslop in ye County of Bucks being in p[er]fect memory make this my last will and Testament following ffirst I bequeath my soule to God hoping for the pardon for my sinne through Christ Jesus. Imprimis I give and bequeath to my well beloved Wife fourtie pounds of good and lawfull money of England after my decese to be paid her by my Executor hereafter named by fourty shillings a yeare from the day of my death twenty shillings every halfe yeare as long as shee shall live to sease pa[y]ing any more  Item I give more to my Wife one joyned bed over the hall on flock bed on straw bed  on coverlid on p[a]re of sheetes on p[a]re of Blankets two p[a]re fether pillows two boulsters on of them a fether bolster and the other a flock bolster on wanscot chest two lo  pot on brass kettle on posnet on proof pot hanging on tub a fire shovel on barrell two ... and two porringers during her life and after her decease then my will and true meaning is that these goods shall com my two Daughters Mary Butcher alias Sibthorp and Elizabeth Butcher alias Sibthorp to divide betwixt them but if it shall happen that either of my daughters shall die before there mother then my will is that these goods shall com to ye longer liver of my two daughters named but in case they shall both of them die before there mother and after there mother they shall com to my Executor hereafter named  Item I give to my Sone Thomas Butcher alias Sibthorp on wainscot chest  Item I give to my Sone Richard Butcher alias Sibthorp on trunke  Item I give to my Sone Thomas Butcher alias Sibthorp ten pounds good and lawfull money of England with in Six yeares after my decease but if he shall die before ye yeres be expired my will is then five pounds of ye ten pounds shall com to my Executor and the other Moitie of  ye ten pounds shall be equally divided betwixt ye rest of my Children that shall be then living   Item I give to my Son Richard Butcher alias Sibthorp ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England with in eight yeares after my decease but if he shall die before the eight yeares beexpired my will is then five pounds of ye ten pounds shall come to my Executor and the other Moitie of ye ten pounds shall be equally divided betwixt the rest of my Children that shall be then living  Item I give to my daughter Mary Butcher alias Sibthorp ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England within two yeares after my decease but if she shall die before ye two yeares be expired my will is then five pounds of ye ten pounds shall come to my Executor and ye other Moitie of ye ten pounds shall be equally divided betwixt the rest of my Children that shall be then living  Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Butcher alias Sibthorp ten pounds of good and lawfull money  within four yeares after my decease but if sh shall die before ye foure yeares be expired my will is then five pounds of ye ten pounds shall com to my Executor and ye other Moitie of ye ten pounds shall  be equally divided betwixt ye rest of my Children that shall be then living  Item I give and bequeath to my two Daughters all my goods in my dwelling house and all my brass and pewter ......... to be equally divided betwixt them except ye loomes in ye shop and all things belonging to them and ...... on salting trough I give to my Sone John Butcher alias Sibthorp  Item I give more to my Sone John Butcher alias Sibthorp all my goods and Chattelles both reall and p[er]sonall and my will and true meaning is that he shall deepe and mainetaine my daughter Mary in a decent and comly maner as becomes her Condition and my will and true meaning is that he John Butcher alias Sibthorp shall have her porsion to mainetaine whom I make my Soule Executor of this my last will and Testament  In witnesse whereof I have set to my hand and seale ye twenteth day of March 1669

Item I give more to my Wife ten hundredwait of good firewood every yeare as long as shee shall live to be sent her not more than five miles from Hanslop
